Avalanche Parade 2022 The Cup Championship Takes Place On June 30
Are you ready to celebrate? The Colorado Avalanche is bringing the Stanley Cup back to Denver and will host a parade on Thursday. Avalanche Parade 2022
Avs defeated Tampa Bay Lightning in six games to win the trophy for the first time since 2001 and for the third time in franchise history.
Celebrations will include a parade downtown and a championship rally in Civic Central Park. Both will be free and open to the public, according to a release from the City and County of Denver.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Union Station and end at Civic Center Park, where a rally will be held.
The rally will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to be in full swing as the Stanley Cup arrives outside the Colorado Capitol and the Denver City and County Buildings.
When the parade arrives at Civic Center Park, there will be a show honoring the Stanley Cup champions.
The rally will include comments from:
Colorado Avalanche. Player, Coach and Manager
- E. Stanley and Josh Kroenke
- Mayor Michael B. Hancock
- Avalanche mascot Bernie
- Ice and avalanche patrol
